I am endlessly fascinated by families and their dynamics, I feel honored that my work enables me to connect with so many incredible people, and I am humbled that I am entrusted to provide guidance and support during hard times. I do not take any of this for granted. I understand that reaching out to a family law attorney means navigating a stressful, highly uncertain period of transition. Regardless of where you are on the journey, I am dedicated to providing clear, transparent communication and deeply empathetic guidance every step of the way.
I am a Board Certified Specialist in Family Law and am also a Collaboratively trained attorney. I welcome the opportunity to work with clients who wish to separate peacefully using the Collaborative Process, but I also recognize that Court cannot be avoided in all cases. Traditional litigation can have a devastating fallout on families in addition to being rigid and expensive. Using a Collaborative Process, I am proud to guide families through transitions in a manner that honors their dignity, protects their privacy, and preserves relationships. My goal is to ensure you feel supported and completely empowered to define your family’s future on your own terms.
I began my practice in Immigration Law defending individuals in removal proceedings in New York City after receiving my New York State License in 2010. In 2017, I became licensed in North Carolina and pivoted my practice to Family Law. I worked with a small general practice law firm in Greensboro before joining Bell, Davis & Pitt in 2020.
I am the immediate past Chair and I currently serve on the Board of the Children’s Law Center of Central North Carolina, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high quality GAL services and a voice for children in domestic violence and high conflict custody cases. I am a member of the Forsyth County Women Attorneys Association.
Originally from Chicago, I received my undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and my law degree from Indiana University in Bloomington. I currently reside in Winston-Salem with my husband, Rodrigo and our two cats. When away from the office, I enjoy traveling, needlepoint, antiquing, and the occasionally successful DIY home improvement project.
